Siparia, Trinidad and Tobago and spanned over three decades.
He holds a Masters Diploma in Chinese herbal medicine and Wu Gong He specializes in Bone Setting and Therapeutic Massage from the Kowloon Herbalist Association in China.
He is an Ordained Disciple of the Shaolin Temple, China.
He took his full vows in C'han Buddhism and Shaolin Wu Gong
under the Venerable Abbot Shi Yan Chang and was authenticated

Shifu Tar Lon is the eldest of two sons for master Darwin Leon John and the present team Captain of "De John Force" that competed successfully at the U.S.Open in Orlando and the Wong Fei Hung All Gung Fu,Championship in Jersey city, 2006 -07.
He is also a champion in Original Shaolin weapons, Forms and Fighting

She won many awards overs the last 18 yrs. Shifu Kim Fay was rated top female contender in forms and fighting in Trinidad and Tobago 1994-99.
She won two gold medals,@ the Wong Fei Hung All Gung Fu Championship in New Jersey, 2007 women 18 to 35 years fighting
and forms advance.

I started martial arts training with Shifu Darwin Leon John in 2005.
My dad introduced my brother and i to him for he is an old friend from since they were young boys back in the days,but had lost contact with each other, for almost seventeen years. They were finally reunited and Shifu De John invited my brother and i to try one of his classess to see if we liked it,
i remember Shifu John saying that if we like it then we will do very well.
We accepted the invitation and it was lots of fun. I remember that class very well I've been training since then My training has been both hard work and excitement over the years. I have had the opportunity to compete at the U.S. Open world championship in Orlando, The Battle of Atlanta, The U.S. Capitol Classics in Washington D.C, The Twin Towers Classic in New York and the Wong Fei Hong all Kung Fu Championship in New Jersey from 2006 to 2008.
