Our teachers and instructors are specially trained in De John Family Martial Arts system together with Physical Education, first aid, human biology, the science of body mechanics, movement analysis and nutrition.
They are tested and when successful, certified to teach De John Ga
martial arts system while independently operating their own school Our teaching method empower others in becoming excellent teachers

MASTER DARWIN LEON JOHN - SHI HENG XIN 35 TH GENERATION SHAOLIN DISCIPLE
Master Darwin Leon John also called Shi Heng Xin, is the founder of De John Ga (Family) Wu Gong system. He was born at Robert Hill, Siparia,
Trinidad and Tobago, in 1966. His journey in the Martial Arts began in 1972 at the age of six (6), Naturally talented and gifted he was quickly recognized as an outstanding student and competitor of the karate system called "Simba Ryu system" that existed in the "70" to the late 1980's in Trinidad.His desire for truth and real knowledge in Martial Arts and Physical Education led him to the U.S.A,were he became a student of Grandmaster James Lee Hopkins, grandmaster Hopkins is a five times world champion in " shoot-fighting "which is also known as"Bloodsport".Grandmaster James Lee Hopkins is a professor of Engineering science and the inventor of the worlds only
semi automatic riveting system "Auto Fast 2000".
After many years of studies at the Global Martial Arts Academy in Venice, Florida, in Martial Arts and Physical Education with Grand
master Hopkins Darwin Leon John was promoted to the rank of
Master and in 1996 he was appointed Director for the Global Martial Arts Federation in the Caribbean, for the development of the
(Dragon wind system) Offensive Gung Fu fighting System
of Martial Arts in that region.

Master Darwin Leon John became a student of Grandmaster Lam Chi Ping the world's famous Dragon style teacher, a descendant of Master Lam Yiu Kwai who is highly respected in Hong Kong, China as the founder of the Dragon Style.
Grandmaster Lam is a Doctor skilled in herbal medicine & bonesetting
trained under GrandMaster Lam Dai Yip. The Lam family is recognized the world over as the authentic Lineage of the Dragon style and Master Darwin Leon John is very fortunate to be the only one in the Caribbean, privileged to study this Ancient Dragon Style and the Secret Sciences of the Chinese herbal medicine and bone setting with Grandmaster Lam Chi Ping.

Master Darwin Leon John is the first Trinidadian to take the full vows in C'han Buddhism and Shaolin Wu Gong, becoming an ordained Shaolin Disiciple of the 35th Generation with the (dharma name)
"Shi Heng Xin" He took his vows under the Venerable Abbot Shi Yan Chang 34th Generation Shaolin Monk . Master Darwin Leon John accomplished great knowledge and skills in the real shaolin temple Wu Gong and herbal medicine and is the only true representitive for the shaolin temple in Trinidad and Tobago.

Master Darwin John was also the first martial arts teacher in Trinibago to introduce the real Shaolin Temple Fighting Monks to this island the venerable Shi Yong Ting, 33 rd Generation monk and Abbot Shi Yan Chang 34th generation monk. They conducted seminars & workshops in C'han Buddhism and Shaolin Wu Gong at the Pan-Am Invitational martial arts championship promoted by master De John and the Global Martial Arts Federation of the U.S.A. They also held workshops throughout the island. This laid the foundation for the first Shaolin Temple of Trinidad & Tobago and all authority concerning this matter was given to Master Darwin Leon John or Shi Heng xin.
Master John's consistency in martial arts and physical fitness has brought him many accolades and friends over the world. He establish His family's Wu Gong center in 1987 at Robert Hill,Siparia,Trinidad
were it still stands.The center is affiliated to numerous martial arts Association in U.S.A., Asia, Europe and the West -Indies. Master John is the president of the Caribbean Gung Fu / Wu Gong Association,The director for The Chinese Wu Gong Federation in the Caribbean and the Global Martial Arts Federation and the representative for the original Shaolin Temple, China, in Trinidad and Tobago.
His school is also the first in Trinidad and Tobago to become a member of N.A.P.M.A.The National Association Of Professional Martial Artistes This association has some of the worlds most elite Grandmasters and Masters such as the legendary world champion Jeff Smith, Joe Lewis, Bill "super foot" Wallace, Stephen Oliver, Don "the Dragon" Willson,to name a few and Mr. Rob Colasanti is the president of N.A.P.M.A .
